UBER DRIVER XL CARBON WRAP

By popular demand! During the development of the UBER DRIVER, we overlooked the "Gentlemen and Illustrious Gentlemen"... aka older guys... My bad! Not anymore. The UBER-XL is exactly as the name suggests: an enlarged version of the recently revamped UBER DRIVER-19. The UBER DRIVER-XL is designed for larger or domestic surfers, as well as intermediate surfers looking for a stepping stone to a more performance-oriented surfboard. The rocker, contour and bottom curves are performance-oriented and directly from the standard UBER DRIVER (which in turn came from the Sub-Driver). We then widened the dimensions and brought forward the flow of thickness. The deck has been adjusted to a flatter and more stable platform, with a low apex tapered rail, which hides the volume and still permeates the water in turns.

CWT Carbon Wrap Technology Construction:

The patented Carbon Wrap system allows for incredibly light, fast and reactive surfboards, without sacrificing the board's durability. The EPS core does not have a wooden stringer, which has been replaced by carbon strips. These strips run from the top of the board, along the bottom side, through the tail, the deck part, creating a sole flex that results in speed and drive in the water. The board is laminated with epoxy resin and biaxial fiberglass.

LOST Carbon Wrap boards are manufactured in the Basque Country by the Olatu factory, the owner of the Pukas brand, and which also produces for the prestigious Al Merrick Channel Islands brand.
