Designed by the prestigious international team of Pukas, the Indio Racer New Stripes is the all-around board designed to help you take your surfing to the next level. If you want to move on from a foam board (softboard) without losing the fun and floatation, or if you are looking for a high-performance yet forgiving hardboard for everyday waves, the Racer's shape is the answer.

Thanks to its generous surface area under the chest and harmonious profile, it guarantees lightning-fast take-offs and incredible stability on both local beach breaks and more formed waves.

Why it's the perfect board for progression:
  • Ultra-Durable Epoxy Endurance Construction: Fused-cell EPS core covered by 3 layers of 6oz fiberglass on the deck and 2 layers on the bottom. The result? You get 5 layers of protection on the rails, making the board incredibly robust, lightweight, and virtually indestructible.
  • Advanced Hydrodynamic Shape: The bottom features a single concave under the front foot that transitions into a double concave between the fins, finishing with a "V" exit on the tail. This combination generates instant speed and allows for smooth rail-to-rail transitions and precise turns.
  • Optimized Rocker: The relatively flat mid-rocker maintains speed even in the weaker sections of the wave, while the slight lift on the nose and tail helps prevent nose-diving and manage steeper bottom turns.
  • Easy Duck Dive: The volume is so intelligently distributed that, unlike classic minimalibus, it allows you to "duck dive" under waves to reach the lineup with less effort.
