Designed by the international team at Pukas Surfboards. The Indio Boom HP is a machine for speed and radical maneuvers. It is specifically designed for intermediate and advanced surfers who want to push their limits on the wave face. Thanks to the intelligent volume distribution, it also proves to be one of the best shortboard options on the market for evolving kids and young riders (Groms).
Key features of the Boom HP:
  • Extreme Speed: Features a deep full concave that runs from the chest to the tail. This hydrodynamics generates lightning-fast acceleration and great control.
  • Absolute Responsiveness: The rails have been noticeably tapered and lowered compared to classic models. This reduces lateral thickness, ensuring an immediate and precise grip in turns.
  • Fluid Transitions: The outline has been refined to allow for lightning-fast rail-to-rail transitions. It enables you to pump through flatter sections and execute vertical bottom turns.
  • Endurance Epoxy Technology: Built with a fused-cell EPS core and laminated with 3 layers of 6oz fiber on top and 2 layers on the bottom. It is light underfoot but incredibly resistant to dings.
