There is nothing quite like surfing while walking to the nose with a beautiful hang ten or hang five. Any longboarder worth their salt must have one of these moves in their repertoire, and the Long Haul / Fusion-Poly makes them easier. The wide, full nose template provides ample planning surface and space to stand on comfortably. The square tail acts as a release point allowing the board to pivot for faster turns, but most of the time you'll find yourself at the other end of the Long Haul.


Gerry Lopez grew up in that extraordinary place that is Hawaii in the 50s and 60s. He took part in the shortboard revolution of the late 60s and early 70s. He experienced the awe, fear, and ultimate satisfaction of finding tubes in the early days of Pipeline. He traveled the world surfing: from the original G-Land surf camp, the exotic islands of Sumatra, and especially the magical island of Bali, Indonesia – before it became a popular destination for surfers. He saw the first windsurfing in Maui, the first steps of snowboarding and tow-in surfing at Jaws.
Moving to the present day, Gerry Lopez is creating truly unique boards that allow his surfing to continue to progress. This collection of boards represents the quiver he takes with him around the world to surf the best spots.
