Thunderbolt Silver
There are 3 types of construction in Thunderbolt Technology. Thunderbolt Silver is hand-built using a full fiberglass lamination. The bottom laminations are 6oz and 4oz fiberglass layers, while the deck laminations are 6oz carbon fiber and 6oz fiberglass. A classic feel with an enhanced handcrafted result.

Thunderbolt Technology uses advanced materials and technology to reduce weight, while enhancing performance, flex characteristics, board control, and durability.
Mass-produced epoxy boards are corky and stiff. While light and durable, they just aren’t suitable for riding.
But Thunderbolt hand-built boards take superior epoxy materials to an entirely different level.
These boards deliver the feel and sensitivity of a good poly board, but deliver performance far beyond traditional epoxy pop-out constructions. In fact, those who use these high-tech epoxy boards say they actually feel more comfortable than polyurethane.
Thunderbolt boards are 100% hand-built. They start with an EPS foam core with multi-component carbon fiber stringer systems that are designed to produce flex and torsion for more vibrant and responsive performance. Proprietary designs employing internal carbon fiber components are then laid out in the deck and bottom of the deck for precise control of flex and strength.
Core-protecting PVC provides flexible protection to increase strength and durability without compromising the flex and torsional characteristics built into the blank.
With abundant use of carbon fiber and fiberglass in the deck, hull, and rails, these boards perform and last longer than traditional PU boards and other epoxy designs.
