The CI Mid is the result of a collaboration between Devon Howard and the Californian workshop Channel Islands.

With a retro look and modern features that allow you to have the best of both worlds, the CI Mid is a mid-length surfboard that, inspired by egg boards and single fins, manages to provide fresh, sensitive, and free sensations while surfing. A true modern classic whose characteristics are highly beneficial for all types of surfers, regardless of their level or whether they usually surf with a shortboard or a longboard.
The CI Mid moves fast and turns with great ease, in addition to having excellent wave entry. This is thanks to the low entry rocker and forward volume, which make paddling simple and effortless. Its most modern features are found in the second half of the board, where a double concave runs along the bottom until it emerges in the fin area, which makes this model so fast and maneuverable. The tail has a powerful rocker for the type of board we are dealing with, which progressively accelerates as you get closer. This makes it easier for the board to navigate comfortably on the face when the wave hits.
Unlike other mid-length boards, the CI Mid performs very well in a wide range of conditions. It proves excellent in point breaks and holds up perfectly on waves up to two meters, where the great control it guarantees is surprising.
Its single fin keel configuration with side stabilizers allows it to adapt to a wide variety of conditions. In addition to being able to move the central keel forward or backward.
The touch of style comes from the retro logo, taken from the Channel Island archives of the 70s.
